ACKNOWLEDGES

for RABBIT students:

According to the Portuguese National funding agency rules and regulations, any publication out of RABBIT (journal articles, communications [oral and written], posters, etc.) must include an acknowledgement to the programme/financing agency and student’s scholarship reference. As so, you must include the following line (or similar) in the acknowledgements/funding section:

"This work was also supported by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT-MCTES), Radiation Biology and Biophysics Doctoral Training Programme (RaBBiT, PD/00193/2012); Applied Molecular Biosciences Unit - UCIBIO (UIDB/04378/2020) and CEFITEC Unit (UIDB/00068/2020); and scholarship grant number SFRH/BD/?????/???? to (e.g. A Loupas or AL)”.

VIVA (VOCE) EXAMINATION PHD THESIS REQUEST

You need to go to the Advanced Training Support Division [Divisão de Apoio à Formação Avançada] and present the following documents:

  • 3 copies of your thesis in print
  • 3 copies of your CV in print
  • Thesis and CV in digital format
  • The form "VIVA (VOCE) EXAMINATION THESIS REQUEST" [PEDIDO DE PROVAS DE DOUTORAMENTO] duly filled in (you can ask for the form to cefitec.secretariado@fct.unl.pt)
  • The "Thesis Accompanying Committee Report" [Relatório da Comissão de Acompanhamento da Tese] (you can ask for the form to cefitec.secretariado@fct.unl.pt)

In addition, a fee of 110 € must be paid.

Before you present the documents above, please make sure that (check in CLIP):

  • Your enrolment is in order
  • All tuition fee, insurances and charges are paid
  • The title and the abstract are updated
  • The registration of the advisers and the Thesis Accompanying Committee [Comissão de Acompanhamento da Tese] is updated
  • The curricular subjects are completed
  • Your address is updated

 

2020 Deadlines:

  • 1st semester: 30/03/2020
  • 2nd semester: 21/09/2020

AFTER PHD APPROVAL 

You need to go to the Advanced Training Support Division [Divisão de Apoio à Formação Avançada] and present the following documents:

  • 1 copy of your thesis in print, with jury corrections included
  • 1 copy of your thesis in digital format, with jury corrections included, in a CD or  USB drive duly identified
  • A statement from your adviser declaring that the version presented is the final version and included all jury recomendations
  • Statement authorizing the depository of the PhD thesis in the National Librabry, duly filled in and signed (you can ask for the form to cefitec.secretariado@fct.unl.pt)

 

DEADLINE: up to 30 days after the PhD Viva

FEE: 0 €

 

REQUEST YOUR CERTIFICATE

You need to go to the Academic Division (Divisão Académica) of the Rectory Building.

FEE for issuing the Certificate: 50 €

FEE for issuing the Diploma: 153 €
